Summer in the City

Sometimes, things are just meant to be and people's paths are meant to cross. Take me and Jo for example. We have lots of mutual friends and were both members of the same amateur dramatics group but at completely different times. I joined for the first show after she moved away, and she came back for the show after I decided to hang up my performing hat to concentrate on the photography. It was only when one of our good friends Seb wanted a unique wedding gift for Jo and her husband Peter that he though about buying them one of our portrait packages to give them the gift of memories. Jo called us after the wedding and we arranged to meet in Manchester this Sunday. The weather was absolutely glorious and Manchester was bustling with people enjoying the sunshine. Jo and Peter thought they would be nervous posing in front of lots of people so to ease them in gently we took them to some quieter places so they could relax a bit more. I don't know why they were worried as they were so natural in front of the camera!

We had such a blast with Jo and Peter and I'm pretty sure they had fun too! There are plenty more shots from the day going out to them on their disk of images  but these are some of our favourites. We don't normally do this for portrait shoots but we had so much fun with Jo and Peter that we will give them a complimentary 10x8 print of one of the images above........ all you have to do is fill in your names and leave a comment below voting for your favourite image and we will sort the rest out!
