Oh So Very Vintage!

I have been in LOVE with Jean Ellis's work since I first photographed one of her brides nearly two years ago. Jean has a well earned reputation for producing spectacularly intricate and bespoke tiaras, hairpieces and hats and it is easy to see why. Jean's work has been features in publications worldwide including Vogue and she has been responsible for some of the most talked about hats at Ascot and Aintree Ladies Day's.

It was only when I was lucky enough to photograph her daughter Lucy's wedding that I realised how truly talented she was. Jean made the most wonderful 1930's style wedding dress and lace headpiece for Lucy which just fitted her character and style perfectly. Jean designs and makes all of her pieces from scratch and really can design the tiara of your dreams from her treasure trove of a workshop.

I was delighted when Jean approached me to photograph some of her more recent work to update her website and we had a lovely time at the historic Rufford Old Hall in Lancashire.

More of Jean's work can be seen on her website along with her contact details. If you are looking for something striking and unique for your big day then why not get in touch!
